discussion
This species is based on a single collection.
In the three protologs of amanitas of section Amanita
written by the present
authors and published in the composite "Fungal Diversity
Notes" of Fungal Diversity 78(1), they mistakenly
report pleuro- and cheilocystidia for amanitas and
and mistakenly state that the surface
of the stipe has a distinct stipipellis.
